RIGHT! I've decided. Seeing has how I'm off for about 3 months as of the 9th of November; I figured it would be the perfect time to get back to what I had set out to do at the very beginning of the year. Side tracked by finishing the Sands of Time trilogy in just as many weeks and the Hitman series kind of threw me off track however so I'll not bother with that. Basically I'm stealing away a friends Wacom tablet to learn for myself to secrets of digital painting. THEY SHALL BE MINE! *evil intent evil intent evil intent*

Yes...*cough* Umm...so basically I'll be scrounging the interwebz and here for any and all tuts and such on it. I want my first project to be a recolour of my 9-10 comic I did as a Matric (senior year for you not of a real school system) final art prac. It'll give me a chance to get rid of the horrible dialog I put in as a silly apparent at a story. >_> So writing isn't my forte! Or spelling for that matter. Which would be why I use firefox...hmm..

Hmm well Good evening.

Right now? There's not so much to tell. I'm a graphic design student here in Durban, South Africa. While not my first choice; it's my practical stepping stone to animation and concept design. The work is sometimes a drag but eh, I can;t quite strap bombs to everything and make mix it with peanut butter. Though I'm quite certain the world would be better off if I could.

Currently I'm embarking on a new venture in pen and ink drawing. which seemed to have come out rather well with my raven. My main problem is an understanding of anatomy which every art teacher I've ever had was very outspoken about learning...but not teaching.

Most of my ideas are taken from the art and animation around me and then put through the massive concept grinder that is my mind still something nasty and unrecognizable comes screaming out like a fire ball from hell's birth canal. Was that too graphic? I think not! Other then that my ideas are shaped by way too much Sonic the Hedgehog and Megaman in my youth, a love with the victorian era (mostly for the clothes...I have a thing for top hats, canes and pocket watches.)

I mean I'm struggling with getting my stuff looking as real as I can. Knowing how a leg muscle will bulge depending on how the leg is bent...its logical stuff really but still I need practice with it. And that big old book of anatomy I saw at the book store the other day mite help as well. Maybe.

Mmhmm...but it's still out of my price range, and now my mother board has decided it doesn't need a LAN plug for my computer. Which is great. So that's more money I don't have to spend.
